HEALING ROOMS MINISTRIES
Background to Healing Rooms
John G. Lake ministered in Spokane from 1914 until 1935. Under his ministry there were documented, 100,000 healings. United States government declared Spokane, the healthiest city in the world.
After fasting for 40 days, God directed Cal Pierce to re-dig this healing well that John G. Lake had dug. On May 29, 1999 he gathered over 100 intercessors from all parts of Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Utah to re-dig this healing well.
Once the healing well had been dug, it was time to fill it with "fresh pure water so that all could come and drink from it". They began to train a ministry team to pray for the sick and re-opened the healing rooms at the same location, under John G. Lake's ministry, more than 70 years ago. The opening date was July 22, 1999 at 340 the Rookery Building, N. 14 Howard St., Spokane, WA.
At the opening, Cal Pierce said, "We are in absolute awe at what God has been doing. He has been confirming His word every step of the way. We covet your prayers and invite all to come to the Rookery Building to be prayed for or to intercede and be in this wonderful anointing."
Cal Pierce was led to re-establish the healing rooms in Spokane and throughout the world, including Singapore. Find out more, click here to go to International Healing Rooms Association website.
Who are we?
We are a team of VOLUNTEERS, believing in the healing power of Jesus and committed to praying for the sick and infirmed. We are a member of the International Association of Healing Rooms.
To see the Glory of our Lord, the healing grace and the truth of Jesus Christ, made manifest and released in Singapore and beyond, through the revelation and power of the Holy Spirit, by the Church of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. Holy men of God wrote under the guidance, influence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Word of God brings provision for healing. Like a seed, when planted, it will produce the harvest.
We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in the vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood not only for sin but for sickness and disease (Isaiah 53:4), in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe there is a filling of the Holy Spirit that is available to every Christian who in faith asks for it.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life and is empowered to do the "greater works" that Jesus said we would.
We believe in the nine gifts of the Spirit and the importance of the fruit of the Spirit, which empowers the gifts.
We believe any servant in this ministry must be yielded to the Holy Spirit, seek an increase in the anointing, be open to operate in any gift of the spirit that is necessary, draw daily from the Word and in prayer and continually give God the glory for what He has done.
We believe this is a body ministry whereby the whole church (body of Christ) can come together to get the whole church, city and nation healed.
